The name Beraki is a tribute to the paternal grandfather of the present developers.

Beraki was a highly esteemed clergyman and communal figure who dedicated over four decades to rigorous theological studies in the most renowned monasteries across Ethiopia. His scholarly work in the transcription of ancient religious parchments was even recognized and decorated by Ethiopia’s emperor. Besides this rare intellectual contribution, Beraki was widely celebrated for his role in peace and reconciliation of community disputes. His legacy of wisdom and service continues to inspire the vision of the present developers.
